What I like most about UConn Waterbury: I love the fact that our campus is on the smaller side. There’s so much interconnectedness between people, groups, and organizations. It makes the transition between high school and colleges almost seamless.

Advice for incoming first year students: Put yourself out there and get to know people! Meeting new friends and experiencing new things is all part of the college experience, so don’t be afraid to make the most of it.

What I like most about UConn Waterbury: I love the small community feel, allowing anyone–no matter their background–to fit in. Likewise, the small scale of the university allows for really strong connections with your peers and faculty.

Advice for incoming first year students: Something often overlooked is the importance of being yourself. No matter how you feel about who you are, the people you meet and grow with will show you what makes you special.
